Alanis Morissette has had a bad run of luck with people robbing her! Along with a burglary incident at her house, her former business manager Jonathan Schwartz has plead guilty to embezzling $5 million from her. With his guilty plea, Schwartz will now serve 6 years in prison on charges of wire fraud and filing a false tax return.
Alanis testified during the hearing that her ability to trust 'has been shaken to the core'; meanwhile, Schwartz wrote in an open letter that promised to make amends and attributed his behavior to a gambling addiction. More HERE (via Hollywood Reporter).
