Winter Storm Update

Snow has started accumulating around Radio 104.5 World Headquarters in Bala Cynwyd, perhaps a little later than forecast, but it's happening. (The photo above is from 6:30a)

Areas North/West of Philly got hit harder and earlier, while Philly and the Delaware valley are still projected to get 4-8 inches of snow, while the Lehigh Valley & Mercer/Monmouth County are looking at 8-12 inches.

Least to  south and east of Philadelphia and heaviest in the northern part  of the city of Philadelphia.* HAZARD TYPES...sleet to a period of heavy snow.* TIMING...Heavy rain and sleet will change to snow between now  and 730 am. The snow will be heavy for a time this morning  before tapering off from west to east during midday.* IMPACTS...The snow may make a few side roads impassable for a  short period of time.
