We knew it was coming! Last week the band hinted with a series of cryptic social media posts, then launched an interactive poster in 11 cities around the world + the already announced European summer tour...we knew something had to be coming pretty soon, and now here it us!
Pearl Jam has just announced their brand new album "Gigaton" along with US tour dates! (scroll down for dates- no Philly date quite yet, but I'm sure they'll add on).
"Making this record was a long journey,” says guitarist Mike McCready. “It was emotionally dark and confusing at times, but also an exciting and experimental road map to musical redemption. Collaborating with my bandmates on Gigaton ultimately gave me greater love, awareness and knowledge of the need for human connection in these times."
Gigaton’s cover artwork features a photo of the Nordaustlandet ice cap on the Norwegian archipelago of Svalbard.
The album is available to pre-order now, and a single,Dance of the Clairvoyants, will be released in the coming weeks.
