Mike Patton to sing national anthem NFL playoffs

Mike Patton ...THEE MIKE PATTON (Faith No More, Mr. Bungle) is singing the national anthem  prior to the Cowboys-Rams game?! What the fuhhh. This is actually amazing. He has an impressive six-octave range and he'll remind the world of why he's the sh*t. Also it's been confirmed he'll be performing at the Chris Cornell Tribute Concert next week as well.

The Dallas Cowboys are taking on the Los Angeles Rams on Saturday (Jan. 12) for the NFL playoffs, and Mike Patton will kick off the game by singing the National Anthem.The Faith No More lead singer will perform “The Star-Spangled Banner” just before kickoff. The game is set to air at 8:15 p.m. Patton on the Future of Faith No More: 'We Don't Have a Plan After This Tour or This Record'Patton also recently announced that he's on the performance lineup for “I Am the Highway: A Tribute to Chris Cornell”, which will take place Jan. 16 at The Forum in Inglewood, California. Metallica, Foo Fighters, Ryan Adams, and members of Soundgarden and Audioslave are also scheduled to take the stage.
