Rolling Stone launches new IGTV performance series 'In My Room'

We've seen artists we love (Death Cab For Cutie's Ben Gibbard, Chris Martin from Coldplay, Dropkick Murphys & Philly's Tim Williams, to name a few) already start doing free live stream performances to connect with and entertain us during this new era of social distancing and quarantine...

Now Rolling Stone has announced a new IGTV live music series with new performances from different artists scheduled for every Monday, Wednesday & Friday at 3pm EST. The series is called In My Room and the first episode is today with Brian Wilson (Beach Boys)

According to Rolling Stone, upcoming episodes will feature not just legacy musicians but also “newer artists too; with artists across genres and across the globe.”

I think on top of the performances the artists should also take us on a tour of their homes - kind of like MTV's Storytellers and Cribs all wrapped up into one.

Who would you like to see on In My Room?

I'll start: Trent Reznor, Glass Animals, Sylvan Esso, David Byrne, Rob Dickinson (Catherine Wheel), Robert Smith (The Cure), The National, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, Greg Dulli, Thom Yorke (Radiohead), Manchester Orchestra, Yannis Philippakis (Foals)...
