Wawa is testing out burgers and fries and chicken sandwiches, oh my!

Best news ever? Wawa is testing out new "dinner" menu items at a handful of Philly-area stores including Horsham and Jamison. On the menu: burgers, waffle fries and this could be the biggest game changer: chicken sandwiches. I mean, think of how people lost their damn minds over the Popeye's chicken sandwich.

According to the Philadelphia Business Journal

onThe burger/chicken sandwich are served on brioche buns, and burger toppings include bacon, tomato, pickles, cheddar cheese, lettuce and garlic aioli (fannnnnncy!)

Prices can vary by store, but the burger and breaded chicken sandwich are available at the Horsham location for $5.49. The waffle fries cost $1.99.

Looks like these new test items might only be available at dinner time, the Horsham store is serving them after 4pm.

Have you been one of the lucky early birds to try any of these? Thoughts?

p.s. Love you Wawa, please bring back your harissa sauce for the quinoa bowls. Thanks.
