How & When To Recycle Your Xmas Tree in Philadelphia

You might not be quiiiiiite ready to take down the tree just yet, but when you are, what should you do with it? Recycle it!

The city of Philadelphia runs a Christmas Tree Recycling Program, running two weeks starting Monday, January 6th (ending Jan 18th). If you're a resident, you can drop off your tree at a Streets Department Sanitation Convenience Center to be recycled for free.

Locations include:

3901 N Delaware Avenue

2601 West Glenwood Avenue

3033 South 63rd Street

Domino Lane and Umbria Street

State Road and Ashburner Street

5100 Grays Avenue

Your tree needs to be naked - free of decorations, lights, ornaments, tinsel and should be untied
