Wells Fargo Center getting $250M makeover

The home of the Flyers and The Sixers (and of course lots of great concerts), Wells Fargo Center,  is getting a big face lift: to the tune of $250 million dollars.

The reno will start this summer and is projected to continue into 2020, but it won't interfere with games or concerts.

Walls will be knocked down, (some) luxury boxes will be eliminated, with the addition of new court- and rink-side suites, 20k + seats will be replaced and food options will be expanded, new windows will be added...sounds like they're going to cover a lot of ground over the next couple years.

WellsFargoCenterPhilly.com has the full plans outlined.  Fancy!
