Queens of the Stone Age played at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday night...and during their set a fight apparently broke out in the crowd. From the stage, with his mighty mighty words, front man Josh Homme seemingly stopped the fight, and gave the troublemakers a good ol fashioned public shaming saying:
“What’s going on? Is this something like a fight?” Homme asked, shaking his head. “We’re not here to fight. If you want to fight, stick your head up your a%$ and fight for air – and get the fu#k out. We’re here to dance, everybody’s going to get laid, and we don’t want security to be all over the place – they’re already really tight here. My point is this: we can show up exactly how we should be, right? So don’t be a di@k… we’re not the soundtrack to you fighting, we’re the soundtrack to you fu#king. If you don’t like that, get the fu#k out.”
Well said, Josh. Well said. Carry on.
