We've been waiting for a new MGMT album since 2013....and after initially promising new music LAST year, looks like we're finally getting close to hearing something new.
They've been sharing updates from the studio - and over the weekend shared this key tidbit "Possibly just sang last singing for new album?! Title track." That sounds promising. But it was also on April 1st....April Fools Day.
Despite the suspect timing, it falls in line with other updates they've shared, so I'm choosing to believe it's legit. Hopefully we'll be hearing official news - and music - soon!
