To some this news will be a little devastating: production has stopped on making popular Easter candy Peeps due to the coronavirus.
While the marshmallow birds definitely have a lot of haters (myself included), there are a ton of people that love them too.
Peep manufacturers Just Born announced they have to close their factories in Philadelphia and Bethlehem due to the “rapidly evolving COVID-19 situation.”
The good news is they already made and shipped out a ton of product, so I'd say we should be set with the stores that are still open and selling them! So maybe stock up while you can.
If not, you can always dig out the ones from the closet that you didn't eat last year!
