The Strokes rang in the new decade with a performance at Brooklyn's Barclay Center where they debuted a brand new song, 'Ode To The Met's, while also performing, 'The Adults Are Talking' (which they debuted earlier in 2019).
During the show, some fans started chanting for 'em to play some music from their 2011 album, 'Angles' (really???) and Julian Casablancas re-confirmed a new album is coming in 2020! Casablancas said, "I don't remember 'Angles'. What's 'Angles'?" before confirming 'Yeah, we've got a new album coming out soon! 2020, here we come".
