My Chemical Romance Just Shared Their First Picture Together In Years

Ever since My Chemical Romance announced their reunion last month, fans got so excited that their comeback show sold out in a matter of minutes; however, without any tangible evidence of them getting back together (photos, live footage, new music) it all still seems so surreal. On Sunday, though, that all changed when the band posted a photo on Instagram of its members — Mikey and Gerard Way, Frank Iero, and Ray Toro — having a powwow in their rehearsal space as they gear up for their first show in seven years, which is going down in Los Angeles next month. It's the first time the band has been photographer together since they all hung out at one of Iero's shows in 2017.

Check out the exciting post below.

My Chem's comeback show is happening on December 20 at LA's Shrine Expo Hall, with fellow New Jersey emo legends Thursday playing support. They also recently announced a slew of 2020 dates overseas, including appearances at Download Fest in Australia and Japan, and a show in New Zealand that boasts Jimmy Eat World as a special guest.

Fans have been speculating (or at least hoping) for a reunion for a while now. In August, the band launched a new merch line that very well may have been the beginning of this new chapter. The members threw us off the scent, though. Back in February, Way flat out crushed our dreams when he said "I miss playing with the guys, but I don’t think so" after being asked about a possible reunion.Frank Iero got our hopes up again in July, when he didn't explicitly deny a reunion by saying "I survived a bus accident, so anything is possible." But what we're really curious about is Joe Jonas' claim that MCR was rehearsing next to the Jonas Brothers earlier this year. Iero ruthlessly slammed the pop star for his comments, but could they have been true all along?
