Might a trip to Boston be in order?? I would say so! While the music festival doesn't roll out their full lineup until January, they just announced the headliners...and it's the holy grail of alternative music!
The fest, which takes place May 22nd through the 24th, will see headlining sets from both the Foo Fighters AND The Red Hot Chili Peppers!
“Boston is such a great city for rock music, and we are so proud to bring some of the most important rock artists of all time to Boston Calling next Memorial Day Weekend,” reads a press statement from Brian Appel, the event’s co-founder. “We have worked for years to bring the Foo Fighters and Red Hot Chili Peppers to the festival, and this year everything lined up perfectly. We couldn’t be happier, and will complement them with an incredibly diverse lineup of artists throughout the festival weekend.”
Does it really matter who else is playing this?? Though it'll definitely be a good lineup of many other acts too! Trying to grab those tickets early? They go on sale tomorrow (November 14th) on the fest's website!
