Bubonic plague infested prairie dogs are threatening 'Phish Dicks'

Bubonic plague infested prairie dogs have threatened the annual 'Phish Dicks' Labor Day weekend concerts. Yes, it's true...as absurd as that headline sounds, it's true. Phish's longstanding Labor Day weekend shows at Dick's Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colorado has had to make some adjustments to this year's concerts which are returning for an 8th year due to black-tailed Bubonic plague infected prairie dogs roaming the area.

According to Stereogum, the show will go on, however, camping will no longer be allowed. Also, the tailgating spot, 'Shakedown Alley', will also be shut down. Meanwhile, officials have been dealing with the issue by spraying insecticides and temporarily closing parts of the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge, which is located in Commerce City.
