There's nothing like heading to a Philadelphia Eagles game with a cooler filled with Wawa hoagies, right? Wawa is absolutely the best convenience store ever, and goes with any Philly sporting event. So, it only makes sense that Wawa was named the official hoagie of....The Baltimore Ravens. Wait...what??
Yup....Wawa basically announced they're cheating on us and signed a multi-year deal partnering with The Ravens.
"Wawa is thrilled to partner with the Ravens to make deeper connections with some of the best fans in football and reach communities all over the city of Baltimore and beyond,” Adam Schall, Wawa's Senior Director of Store Operations for Maryland.
They even released a video showing Ravens mascot Poe hanging with the Wawa mascot Wally the goose! I mean there are definitely a bunch of Wawa locations in the MD area...but Wawa is already OUR official hoagie and a Philly thing! Who do they root for when we play the Ravens? I have questions!
