Kelsea Ballerini Confirms Her First Single Off 'KB3' Is Almost Complete

There's nothing I "miss more" than new Kelsea Ballerini music and the "Dibs" singer confirmed on Tuesday (June 18) that we're that much closer to a new single — hallelujah!

Much to her fans excitement, she took to Twitter to reveal that her first single off her third album is in its final stages. “First single is in mixing as we tweet," she wrote. Cue the freak out!

Also in the tweet, the 25-year-old explained how great it has been writing this new batch of songs. "'Is it feeding my soul or my anxiety' KB3 writing has been the most heart opening, therapeutic season of life I’m getting really excited for you to hear these songs," she said.

The "I Hate Love Songs" singer recently took to the Songland Podcast, a counterpart to the brand-new competition show, Songland, and spoke with her episode's winning contestant, Darius Coleman. Coleman wrote the song "Better Luck Next Time" — which might just appear on the country singer's third album after she fell in love with it.

"I'm at this place in my career where I'm just like trying new things and pushing myself. I think that's how you really grow and discover other things about yourself and your voice and, and your style," she explained, adding, "I think it's time for me to just keep doing that and evolving."

Ballerini also previously opened up about where she gets song inspiration and how her Number One country song "Miss Me More" came to be. Can't wait to hear new music, Kels!
