Dave Hause announces new album - check out the first song

Great news this morning from Roxborough's Dave Hause - he just announced his new album "Kick" will be out on April 12th, it's the follow-up to 2017's "Bury Me In Philly."

Along with the announcement Dave shared the first song from the album, "The Ditch," a song that takes on mental health and anxiety.

About the song he told Rolling Stone: "My brother has become a songwriting juggernaut. When he came up with the chorus, I stopped in my tracks. If there’s ever been a lyric that has paralleled mental illness with the sociopolitical climate, it was that. If you can’t change the circumstances around you, sometimes the only thing left to do is to try to make a home out of the wreckage. If all you do is shake in fear and you can find someone else who is maybe willing to do that with you, there’s a beauty in that struggle."Dave will play a pair of sold out hometown shows this spring at Boot & Saddle on April 3rd & 4th.
