Made In America 2019 Will Not Be On Ben Franklin Parkway

Since 2012, Philly has hosted Jay-Z's popular Made In America in one spot: The Benjamin Franklin Parkway.

The parkway, which hosts many events, is definitely an ideal spot for a festival of that size...but it appears that will not be the case in the near future.

While the 2018 edition has been solidified (and completely lacks alternative artists), and will be in the same place, it looks like it will be the final year there.

A new report says that the fest will still be in Philly but NOT on the parkway, and that a new location is being looked for.

The reason for this?  Tourism on that weekend has grown and “the need for an event of this scale at this location may no longer be necessary.”

THIS year is also the first year that the festival isn't sponsored by Budweiser too. While in the past their name was plastered everywhere, they've now decided to focus on country shows where people reportedly buy more beer.

So where do you think the fest should host it's 2019 edition? Here's just hoping they focus, again, on more alternative acts as in some of the earlier years!
