Philly Phave Song of the Week 2/5 - Grace Vonderkuhn - Cellophane

Man, I can't get enough of these tracks Grace Vonderkuhn is laying down for her new album, Reveries, coming out at the end of February. Here's another track from the new album with a ton of delightful guitar fuzz and echoey vocals in a slow burn of a song. The vibe is a little mellow, a little angsty, a tiny bit retro (hearing little hints of 60s garage rock and 80s/90s shoegaze), but still contemporary and original ... To me, it sounds like light coming through the different colors of a stained glass window just before the sun goes down and reflecting all over the walls and floors. Exactly what we need to maybe just survive through the rest of the winter.
