Spinal Tap fans: get excited!
A new solo album is coming from the band's bassist Derek Smalls (portrayed by Harry Shearer of The Simpsons fame)! The character from the This Is Spinal Tap mockumentary is releasing his first solo LP called "Smalls Change (Meditations Upon Ageing)" due out this April!
As if that's not exciting enough, there are some very high profile musicians helping out with this one! The album has guest features from a Chili Pepper AND a Foo Fighter!
YES! Both Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith AND Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins join Steely Dan's Donald Fagen, David Crosby, Peter Frampton, and a bunch more!
